"เด ลี่ เมล์" รายงานเมื่อวันที่ 31 พ.ค.ว่า จากการสอบสวนคดีคอร์รัปชั่นนายซู หมิง นักธุรกิจมหาเศรษฐีมีทรัพย์สินมูลค่ากว่า 444 ล้านปอนด์ ได้เปิดเผยข้อมูลชวนอึ้ง โดยเจ้าตัวเผยต่อเจ้าหน้าที่จีนว่า  จาง ซิยี่ ดาราสาวชาวจีนซึ่งโด่งดังระดับโกอินเตอร์ ได้ขายบริการทางเพศให้แก่นักการเมืองจีนหลายคน โดยได้เงินเป็นจำนวนกว่า 64 ล้านปอนด์ หรือราว 3,200 ล้านบาท
หนึ่งในจำนวนนี้รวมทั้งนายป๋อ ซีไหล อดีตสมาชิกกรมการเมืองพรรคคอมมิวนิสต์ทรงอิทธิพลซึ่งร่วงจากอำนาจ โดยนายซูอ้างว่า ดาราสาวชื่อดังรายนี้ ได้มีความสัมพันธ์ลับ หลับนอนกับนายป๋อ ถึง 10 ครั้ง ตั้งแต่ช่วงปี 2007-2011 เพื่อแลกกับเงินของขวัญก้อนมโหฬาร โดยทั้งคู่จะลอบมีความสัมพันธ์หลับนอนกันในกรุงปักกิ่ง ซึ่งจาง ซิยี่ จะได้เงินเป็นจำนวน 1 ล้านปอนด์ สำหรับการหลับนอนแต่ละครั้ง โดยนายซูระบุว่า เขาเป็นติดต่อข้อตกลงเซ็กส์ลับให้แก่ดาราสาวชื่อดังรายนี้ รวมทั้งติดต่อนายป๋อ ด้วย และทำให้ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้รู้จักกัน โดยการติดต่อครั้งแรก จาง ซิยี่ ได้ค่าตัวเป็นเงิน 6 แสนปอนด์ (18 ล้านบาท)
รายงาน ระบุว่า การสอบสวนนี้ส่งผลให้ทางการจีนปฎิเสธที่จะอนุญาตให้จาง ซิยี่ ออกจากประเทศ ซึ่งที่ผ่านมา เธอไม่ได้เข้าร่วมเทศกาลหนังเมืองคานส์แต่อย่างใด ขณะที่ดาราสาวชื่อดังได้เขียนบล็อกของตัวเองปฎิเสธการกล่าวอ้างนี้อย่างสิ้น เชิง ระบุว่า เป็นเรื่องที่ใครบางคนจินตนาการขึ้นมาเอง
ส่วน โฆษกของเธอบอกว่า ดาราสาวรู้สึกเดือดแค้นมาก และเธอรู้สึกหดหู่ ไม่เข้าใจว่าเพราะเหตุคนที่อุทิศตัวและรับผิดชอบเช่นเธอต้องเผชิญกับการดู ถูกเหยียดหยามเช่นนี้ด้วย ทั้งนี้ ปัจจุบัน จาง ซิยี่ อาศัยอยู่ในฮ่องกง และเธอเคยมีความสัมพันธ์กับนายวิวี นีโว นักธุรกิจยิวผู้ร่ำรวย ก่อนเลิกรากันไปเมื่อปี 2010
